Our COVID-19 Precautions

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact.

A limited number of students will be permitted to attend in-person. If you choose to join us in the classroom, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver. Alternatively, classes will also be live-streamed via Zoom and you will have the option to attend the sessions online at any time.

Thank you for your understanding and willingness to cooperate to keep our community safe and healthy at this time.

Here's what we're doing to keep you safe:

  • Building facilities will be cleaned before and after each class session.

  • In-person class sizes will be limited to 8 students max.

  • Seats will be spaced at least 6-ft apart.

  • There will be mandatory temperature checks prior to each class session.

  • If you have a fever of 100.4F or high, you will be sent home. You will not be permitted to return to the in-person class sessions.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available to all students.

  • Your instructor, Alison Week, has completed Safe Sets™ Covid-19 (Level A) certification for the Film and Video Production Industry issued by Safe Sets International.

Here's what you'll be required to do to help keep others safe:

  • You agree to bring and wear a facemask at all times.

  • If you do not bring a facemask, you will not be permitted in the building and will be sent home.

  • You agree to bring your own pens/pencils and paper/notebook or laptop to work from.

  • Sharing class materials will not be allowed.

  • Only registered students will be allowed in the class. Family members or friends will not be permitted in the classroom.

We will update our guidelines to the best of our abilities based on the most current World Health Organization and state of Hawai'i recommendations.
